About

Stefan Buzoianu is a veterinarian, animal health researcher and Technical Director – Livestock and Applied Research at Tonisity. He holds a PhD in Animal Health and has extensive experience in applied research, experimental design, statistical analysis, intestinal health and animal nutrition.


Since joining Tonisity in 2018, Stefan has contributed to the evaluation of more than 200 trials and studies, supporting the scientific validation of nutritional strategies for pigs and young ruminants across diverse commercial production systems.


His work focuses on translating scientific research into practical, evidence-based solutions for livestock producers, with particular expertise in early-life nutrition, intestinal function, animal performance and the development and validation of on-farm nutritional protocols.
