Tonisity has revolutionised the industry with pioneering gut health and hydration products, improving the well-being of pigs, calves, lambs, goat kids, cats and dogs.

A Decade of Innovation and Growth

Since its founding in April 2015, Tonisity has revolutionised the industry with pioneering gut health and hydration products, improving the well-being of pigs, calves, lambs, goat kids, cats and dogs. Over the past 10 years, the company has expanded its presence to more than 60 countries, consistently delivering cutting-edge nutritional solutions that drive better animal health and superior production outcomes for farmers and pet owners alike.

Tonisity’s journey began with the development of Tonisity Px, a first-of-its-kind isotonic protein solution designed to improve gut health in swine. Over the years, Tonisity has continued to push the boundaries of animal nutrition with a range of products that support animals from birth through various life stages. Key milestones include:

Looking to the Future

As Tonisity enters its second decade, the company remains steadfast in its mission to redefine animal nutrition and welfare. Managing Director, Mathieu Cortyl, took over as CEO from long-serving founder Arie Halpern in December. Cortyl has over 35 years of experience in the animal health and nutrition industry.

“We are incredibly proud of how far we have come over the past ten years,” said Cortyl. “From a groundbreaking concept to a global leader in animal nutrition, our success is driven by our commitment to innovation, animal welfare, and the dedication of our team and partners worldwide.”

“We want Tonisity to be a top name in animal health and nutrition. We already have gut health solutions for swine, ruminants and pets, but we plan on expanding our innovative technologies into other species in the next ten years. As we look to the future, we remain focused on creating science-driven, high-impact solutions that improve the lives of animals and support the farmers and pet owners who care for them.”

These first 10 years are just the beginning of our journey, we are committed to doing much more.

Many thanks to everyone who directly and indirectly took part in these trials at every stage. We are very grateful to have you in our success story and we are counting on you to go even further.
