Tonisity Px's recent study in Belgium shows significant improvements in nursery piglet growth and efficiency through targeted nutritional supplementation.

Tonisity Px’s Impact on Nursery Piglets in Belgium.

A recent study in Belgium evaluated the effects of Tonisity Px supplementation on weaning weight and nursery performance in a farm housing 1,200 sows of DanBred x Belgian Pietrain genetics. This comprehensive research investigated key metrics such as weaning weight, nursery weight, and Average daily gain (ADG) in 2,237 piglets across 124 pens.

Tonisity Px Supplementation Protocol

The piglets received 500ml of Tonisity Px per litter per day from day two to eight of life through round piglet feeders. In addition, Tonisity Px was poured on creep feed three days before weaning. Post-weaning, 100ml per pig per day of Tonisity Px was administered for three days, mixed with nursery feed. The control group did not receive any supplementation.

The results revealed a remarkable improvement in piglet growth:

  • Nursery weight increased by 610g.
  • Nursery ADG increased by 24g per day.

These significant improvements were observed across all 124 pens, showcasing the effectiveness of Tonisity Px in enhancing piglet growth and performance during the nursery phase.

Tonisity Px's Impact on Nursery Piglets in BelgiumMaximising Piglet Performance with Nutritional Interventions

This study underscores the importance of strategic supplementation in pig farming. By incorporating Tonisity Px, farmers can boost nursery performance, ultimately improving piglet health, growth rates, and overall farm productivity. As pig farming continues to evolve, adopting innovative nutritional solutions like Tonisity Px can provide a competitive edge.

Conclusion

The study demonstrates that Tonisity Px is a valuable tool for pig farmers aiming to enhance nursery piglet growth, efficiency, and profitability. By leveraging its benefits, farmers can ensure healthier, more robust animals and contribute to sustainable, productive swine farming systems.
